Why R&R?

When you hear, “I need some R&R” we know it means, “Rest and Relaxation”. And, we all need it on a regular basis. The challenge is we generally never take the time! Why is that? As leaders, owners, and entrepreneurs don’t we have the control? The simple answer is, “YES, we do!” So the real question is, “Why don’t we choose to take it?” There are countless reasons we don’t take the R&R we all need and deserve; time, money, wondering who will do the work if we don’t, who will follow-up, make calls, lead the team?  Well, I think you get the picture! I was inspired to form this company to work with companies and organizations to put in place the things they need, to get that well deserved R&R. Speaking to other talented likeminded consultants I asked questions about how they do it – and I got great answers!

And even better, they are part of this team. If you have the right “Recruitment & Retention” practices and process in place you too can take that well deserved, “Rest and Relaxation”. I think back to my time as a Senior Executive, District Manager, Branch Manager and one thing never changed – I hired great people, gave them the training and tools to succeed, trusted and empowered them and went on vacation!! Imagine what happened…when I returned I had a line-up of my team waiting to tell me about their success when I was away. Imagine that feeling… Well, we will be adding lots of great articles, welcoming guest authors, and sharing the nuggets of information that you need to get your R&R.
