Accounts Receivable Coordinator, Greater Moncton 

 

Our client is a fast-growing company in the Greater Moncton area they are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Coordinator to maintain and manage AR/AP supporting multiple business units. This position is fast paced and multifaceted position, which needs an employee that has great prioritizing and organizational skills as well as high attention to details. The individual must support, implement, and facilitate the company’s policies and processes reporting working with company business units and reports to the Director of Finance.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring the Company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly;
• Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems;
• Creation of daily/weekly/monthly claims relating to various programs;
• Liaise with multiple business units to coordinate product-related claims;
• Prepare timely and accurate reports for internal stakeholders as required;
• Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts receivables and payables, payroll, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements in a ledger or computer system;
• Prepare period statements or reports as required;
• Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems;
• Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and records systems, as well as other office administration duties;
• Carry out ad hoc projects as required.

 

Qualifications:
• Must have excellent communication skills with proven ability to work in fast paced environment;
• Post-secondary education and training in accounting/finance;
• Experience and strong knowledge of SAGE accounting systems;
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Able to learn software management and database programs;
• A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is imperative for this role;
• Meticulous attention to detail and maintaining company standards;
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
